Mission Statement

3GFH’s mission is to build, grow and foster the game of field hockey in our local community. We are looking to build the game from the bottom up, covering ages 5 - 17 and growing with our players as they become stronger and more confident athletes. We stress effort and attitude as our most important tenet and a means to learning.

Through the teaching of the fundamental skills -

Basic Rules
Proper Grip and Posture
Ball and Stick Control
Tackling
Receiving
Passing
Shooting

in a fun and effective manner, we will develop players to Play Quick, Play Smart and Play Strong .
